We are currently hiring an Administrative Aide – Home Health based in Worcester. The Administrative Aide’s responsibility is to provide clinical and administrative support to the Home Health Utilization Nurse and the agencies Kennedy Community Health partners with. These responsibilities are primarily clerical and include scanning, filing, preparing questionnaires, answering phone calls, faxing and any other relevant responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Functions:
  • Download, sort and store home health related faxed documents in a frequency determined by the Home Health Utilization program needs.
  • Returns completed paperwork to appropriate Kennedy Community Health provider for review and signature. Follow up with provider as needed.
  • Sends signed and completed documents to appropriate requesting agency.
  • Answer phone calls from agencies, providers and patients.
  • Utilize an internal excel workbook to track patients and their services.
  • Escalate concerns to Home Health Utilization Nurse appropriately.
  • Performs general clerical duties, including document preparation, copying and filing.
  • Operate a variety of office machines, including computers, copier, fax machine, postage equipment, and other office machinery.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Intermediate level excel.
  • Proven record of customer service.
  • Experience with home health agencies or ambulatory care agencies.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Work experience in a culturally diverse workplace.
  • Our health center requires all employees to have the most recent COVID-19 booster and the yearly flu vaccine.
